ice cream dream

What kid doesn't love ICE CREAM??? My gorgeous and littlest boys Rhys has just turned 4 and he certainly enjoys an ice cream or two and with his birthday being a summer one we just had to have a "Ice Cream Dream" party.

Here are some pics from his sweet little party. :-)

The dessert table. this time I just did a simple smaller one. :-)

I was happy with how my cakepops turned out, they were so easy to make and yummy and "looked" like real ice creams.

Yummy shortbread biscuits made by my friend.

I was also happy with my cupcakes, also easy to make and very yummy.

The easiest bunting I have ever made and looked effective I thought. :-)

An Ice Cream buffet for the kids to add topping, sprinkles, cherries, wafers...whatever their hearts desired. :-)

The Birthday boy himself. {My big 4 year old cutie!!!}

Love this guy to the moon and back!

More cute and simple bunting I made from cardboard and mini pompom's.

The cake :-)

Rhys and his "girl" friends. ;-)

emma & jordan wed

A dear friend of mine for many many years now Emma has spent a copious amount of years travelling and exploring the times I have been so envious of her adventures...She eventually settled in Canada and around 2 years ago met the man of her dreams Jordan and she knew he was "the one". They were engaged to be married and were coming to Australia to wed. The destination was Noosa, as Emma had spent many years there holidaying with her family throughout her childhood and Noosa holds a special place in her heart.

They were fortunate enough to have some special family and friends make the trip from Canada to celebrate their special day with their "Aussie" friends and fam and we were lucky enough to be invited also. It was one of the hottest days on record..around 41 degrees (I do NOT know how the Canadians coped coming from the snow to that?) but it was still the most magical day and it was such honor to witness Emma and Jordan share their vows and love for one and other. It was also lovely to meet her new extended family and friends.

Here are some pics of their beautiful day....

Wishing them both a life full of love and happiness always xoxo

All ready to go, so nervous to step out of the air-con though! ;-)

The beautiful bride and her lovely brother walking her down the isle as sadly Emma's Dad has passed away.

A magical setting.

I love this pic, its so "Emma" xx

My husband and lovely mother-in-law Kerry that was the celebrant of their wedding.

The reception was at The Boathouse right on Noosa River was a perfect venue for their day.

I loved the little "Aussie" touches they had as their decorations.

The wedding cake was the best, it was a PAVLOVA!!!

The original "Wearhouse" girls and Jordan. ;-)

The most divine photo of Emma and Jordan arriving on this amazing boat at sunset...Perfection.

the death of my polo

                                   From one extreme------------------------> To another!

Well this was a very exciting day!!! Picking up my brand new VW Polo GTI with all the extra's on Christmas Eve, VERY fancy for me!! I had been dreaming of being able to drive around a cute zippy car for a while and my dream came true!

The perfect car for me to drive around with my boys...

As you can see the boys loved it just as much as me!!

Approx 3.5 weeks later after vacuuming out the car and about to wash her, I had a bad reversing accident. Over $30K damage and deemed a "write off" and me with cuts, bruising, grazes, whip lash and rib fracture my high went to a LOW!!! I created some drama in our usually quiet street...2 ambulance, a fire truck. police and 3 tow trucks and street closure..even a radio announcement!! All in all, it could have been much much worse so I am eternally grateful for that my kids or anyone else wasn't hurt.

LOTS of morphine and drugs later I still felt shocking!!! :-(

My lovely neighbour baked these for my kids to cheer them up :-)

Somehow I ended up with a massive bruise on my hip? Photo doesn't do the size and colour justice. Plus I has a badly bruised year and head on the opposite side of my body to this. I had very random injuries.

Feeling very depressed and in agony one-two week later. All I could do way lay down, very uncomfortably at that. Very hard for me as I am normally a very active person who doesn't sit still for more than 5 minutes. I am very fortunate though, I had my hubby looking after me, my sister bringing over dinners, my sister in law buying groceries, my mother in law cooking and buying food and lots lovely flowers given to me plus my other sister-in-law giving me a very thoughtful gift. Many many lovely messages and phone calls. I know how loved and cared for I am, especially at times like these. xx
Never spent so many hours in the bath...feels so good to relaxing and warming my sore back and rib!! I loved these divine bath bombs Sharna (my sis-in-law) gave me.

Going out the the movies, 10 days first proper outing....

'straya day

My spunky monkey Zac and I all decked out Aussie style! ;-)

I was bed ridden all week due to rib fracture and whip lash after a car accident but I forced myself to get up and celebrate Australia Day even if was just for a couple of hours! So glad I did, I really needed the fresh air and company.

Car selfies of my 3 cheeky boys and I!!

Daddy and his boys.

My gorgeous baby nephew Harper...looking ever so cute stamped with "Made in Australia"

Footy in the park.

Jas and my Dad.

Two of my best friends in the world xx

This is a special photo to me...these boys are how and why we met one and other. They're the same age and started school (prep) together 5 years ago and we met and became friends from they all go to different schools but we're all still the closest of friends...we're more like family. xx

lil Miss India Pearl looking so grown up and pretty.

My darling nephew...sorry just had to snap one pic of you looking funny! ;-)

Our kids!
